2025-2026 Season Information

That time of year is here again! Hockey season is just around the corner and its time to get registered!

**New for 2025-2026**

ECYH Recreational Hockey - ECYH is excited to offer for a recreational hockey opportunity at the Squirt level. This team will practice twice a week in total 40 hours, have 12 home games, one home tournament and is eligible for the state tournament!  Recreational Hockey will be an excellent opportunity for players to trial hockey without the significant commitment travel hockey requires. ECYH is hoping to increase retention of players and provide a stepping stone for kids who enter the hockey program at an older age.  Please email the board for questions about this new and exciting program.

Registration LATE FEE: $200 Registration late fee applies to returning players who register after September 15, 2025. Late fee will be waived for new players. 

Exciting News!

  • No cost increase for Bantams/14U, Peewees/12U or Squirts/10U from last season. Also $50 reduction in cost for Mites/8U and Mini Mites!
    • Hobbs Ice Rates: O'Brien Rink & Akervik Rink $233.00/hr. Hughes Rink $198.00/hr.
  • Payment options: This season there will be an upfront payment of $50 at the time of registration and all participants will utilize the 5 payment plan (October, November, December, January, February).
    • Late Registration (after September 15, 2025): Returning players with late registration are subject to $200 late fee.
  • Travel teams (squirts/10U, peewees/12U, bantams/14U) will have the opportunity to sell 20 Raffle Calendars ($20 each/$400 value). Mites/8U will have the opportunity to sell 8 Raffle Calendar tickets ($20 each/$160 value). This cost is built into registration and sales collected go back to the player/players family.
  • Scholarship applications will be due by Sept. 19th,  2025. Applications will be reviewed prior to preseason skate beginning.
  • Only registered players may participate in preseason skates and tryouts.
  • Thank you to everyone that attended our summer camps! Not only did we have enough skaters to cover our costs, we generated revenue that the board has voted to put towards further player development and maintaining/reducing fees.

As an association, we aim to keep the fees as low as possible and provide a great experience for players and families. We will continue to seek opportunities to offset these costs and minimize the fees for each player.

Travel Hockey

SQUIRTS/PEEWEES/BANTAMS 

  • Referee Fees
  • Ice time for 2 combined & 1 solo practice every week and games

  • Two away tournaments for squirts, two away tournaments for peewees, three away tournaments for bantams
  • Playoff and State tournament fees

GIRLS U10/U12/U14 - Participating in the Chippewa Valley River Hawks Co-op for the 2025-2026 season.

  • Referee Fees
  • Ice time for practice- distributed between Co-op associations based on percentage of players from each. Each team will have two practices a week within the boundaries of the Co-op.
  • Skills night once a week in EC run by Mike Janda, UWEC Blugold Mens Assistant Coach.
  • Home Games- distributed between Co-op associations based on percentage of players from each.
  • One home tournament
  • Two away tournaments 
  • Playoff and State tournament fees
  • Preseason skate sessions
  • Tryouts 

In-House Hockey

Squirts - Rec.

  • Referee Fees
  • 40 hours of practice/ 2x weekly
  • Home Games 
  • One home tournament
  • Playoff and State tournament fees

MITES – GIRLS U8

  • Referee Fees
  • Ice time for practice and games 
  • Practices 
  • Home Scrimmages (Mostly on Saturday's)
    • ECYH will play other ECYH teams if there is no away game scheduled or away team scheduled to play 
  • Jamborees- 1 Home & 2 Away 
  • ECYH 8U teams will participate in the WAHA sponsored Grow the Game jamborees when available.

REGISTRATION FEES DO NOT INCLUDE:

SQUIRTS/PEEWEES/BANTAMS – GIRLS U10/U12/U14

  • Jerseys and socks - All Youth Players will need a new jersey and socks for 2025-2026 season.  Girls players participating in the Co-op will receive and return River Hawk jerseys.

ECYH In House Hockey

Mini-Mites (Co-Ed)

Mini-Mites: Generally ages 4-6-year-olds | Birth Years:  2019, 2020, 2021
Must be 4 years old by 12/31/2025

Mites & 8U Girls

  • Jerseys: Hand Out date Sept 25, 2025 at Fall Face Off Event. $100 deposit required and returned at end of season when jersey is collected.
  • Equipment Rental Available as needed: $250 deposit required and returned at end of season when equipment is collected.

Recreational Squirt Hockey

Squirts: 9 & 10-year-olds & 10U Girls | Birth Years: 2015 & 2016

Travel Hockey

The registration fee for travel teams includes the pre-season camp sessions and tryouts. Total registration, player, and fundraiser fees for the season are described below. 

Squirts & 10U Girls

Squirts: 9 & 10-year-olds & 10U Girls | Birth Years: 2015 & 2016

REGISTRATION FEES

Registration fees will be collected during the initial registration process. 
Please Note: There is a one-time processing fee that is assessed at the time of check out. No further fees will be applied through the payment plan. 

PAYMENTS

All payments are collected online with either a debit or credit card. The card used at the time of registration will be charged at the dates outlined below.

SCHOLARSHIPS

There are limited scholarship funds available. To complete a scholarship application, click here.

FUNDRAISING OPTIONS

The fundraising fee will be applied to the registration fees this year and collected through online payment. 

Female Player Intent Form

Female athletes intending to tryout for both youth and girls hockey teams are required to complete this form prior to registration.
